		<description>Great story - and a good visualization! Another way sometimes seen in measuring the paper wast is in units of trees... and that too is strongly visual.

It would be interesting to find a similar measure for info that remains digital... since that too has a footprint on the environment, if only in the greenhouse emissions used to power the memory chips storing it, etc.  :-(</description>
